We should – and can – leverage our online presence to point others to Jesus and encourage and serve others while also expressing our unique gifts and establishing credibility. As Zig Ziglar famously said, “If people like you, they’ll listen to you. But if they trust you, they’ll do business with you.”
Ultimately, personal branding for Christians can be a positive tool if used in the right way. We should approach personal branding with a humble and servant-hearted attitude, using it as a means to share our faith and serve others, rather than to solely build our own reputation and influence.
